Let Salty Safaris take you on a journey through one of Sydney’s best-hidden gems. Under an hour from the city’s CBD lies one of the most scenic hikes on the East Coast of Australia. We will pick you up from a pick-up location in the Eastern Suburbs or the CBD and start the scenic journey down south. Along the way we will stop at a secret beach to take you surfing in the emptiest waves in close proximity to Sydney. These are perfect for beginner surfers and intermediate surfers alike. These sessions will include in-water coaching by one of Salty Safari’s expert-based surf coaches and tour guides.
After the morning surf lesson, we will take you to a beautiful waterside cafe & restaurant that is in the heart of the national park. This cafe boasts views of the river running through the national park and close-up encounters with a large variety of native birds, animals and wildlife.
After our lunch, we make the short drive to where our hike starts. The hike takes you along a well-maintained trail that descends down into the beautiful national park. The hike takes roughly 2-3 hours returns and along with the stunning views boasting from the cliffside mountains to the secret beaches, you are also likely to encounter native animals like wallabies and kangaroos. Your Salty Safaris guide will inform you about the rich history of the area and the settlements of small houses that line the area’s mountainous terrain.
